Moraine Lake Banff

When I saw the turquoise color of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park,  Canada - surrounded by snow peaked mountains I just had to paint this picture.  The blue-green water is out of place because one usually associated this color perhaps with water in the Caribbean or southeast Asia.  But here it was somewhat out of place high up in the Canadian Rockies.  I paint primarily landscapes and this painting would stand out in any home or office.
